Evidera supports Centers of Excellence for four core disciplines: epidemiology, health economics, outcomes research and statistics. Our Centers of Excellence were established to maintain our methodological leadership and ensure that best practices are applied in the execution of studies by:
As longitudinal patient-level data becomes more readily available, better collection and analysis of these sources of information are critical. At Evidera we are developing epidemiological methods and conducting cutting-edge research with full programming support and one of the largest teams of epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and clinicians in the industry. In fact, our epidemiologists helped to write the guidelines for good database selection and use in pharmacoepidemiology research.

Our health economists have helped to shape the field for more than 30 years and are still at the forefront of new methodologies and advancements today. We are constantly seeking new ways to demonstrate health and economic benefits to payers, as well as regulatory agencies on national, regional and/or hospital levels.

An evidence-based approach is crucial when it comes to evaluating outcomes, and this concept is central to our research. To ensure we develop the best strategies for our clients, we draw from Evidera’s unique combination of scientific disciplines, including psychometrics, epidemiology, biostatistics, psychology and public health.

Evidera’s specialized statisticians identify and apply complex methods to address the challenging research questions our clients pose. We work to get the most out of data and are on the forefront of the industry’s latest advancements. Our statisticians publish regularly on new methods, including a recent article on novel approaches for indirect comparisons that are complementary to mixed treatment comparisons.

Evidera’s epidemiologists, health economists, outcomes researchers and statisticians work closely with our project teams to understand the objectives and challenges of each study and recommend the appropriate methods to yield the best results. At every study phase we incorporate thoughtful methodological insight to ensure the study objectives, analysis strategy and interpretation of findings are properly aligned. We also constructively challenge our colleagues and encourage the development of new techniques and methods.
Our experts are recognized leaders in their respective fields and regularly contribute to industry meetings. They serve on the boards and contribute to numerous task forces and special interest groups, including: the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE), the International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL) and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), among others.
