Michael Stokes

MPH, Senior Research Scientist, Real-World Evidence

Michael has more than 18 years of experience in the field of health economics and outcomes research. In his current role at Evidera, he serves as principal investigator on studies using claims and electronic medical record databases. Michael’s research has examined topics such as the cost-effectiveness of herpes zoster vaccination in Canada, impact of specialty pharmacy services on adherence to oral oncolytics, and healthcare costs associated with chemotherapy-induced neutropenia.

Prior to joining Evidera, Michael was a senior analyst with i3 Innovus. At i3, he provided data management and SAS programming support for numerous studies spanning various therapeutic areas including cancer, allergic rhinitis, psoriasis, and venous thrombosis. Michael received his Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology from Emory University and his undergraduate degree in biology from the State University of New York at Binghamton. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Value in Health, Health Services Research, Headache, Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy, and Prostate Cancer & Prostatic Diseases.
