With one of the largest in-house teams of modelers, Evidera has developed hundreds of health economic and other models in all major therapeutic indications and for all major markets.

Evidera’s experts design and implement models to help you:

  • Demonstrate clinical and economic value (e.g., cost-effectiveness)
  • Estimate direct and indirect economic burden
  • Estimate budget impact
  • Forecast the longer term effects of a therapy when only short-term data are available
  • Inform clinical trial design and simulate expected outcomes
  • Evaluate pricing scenarios
  • Inform strategic planning and product development
  • Support submissions to regulatory agencies and health authorities
  • Incorporate multiple dimensions of benefit beyond survival and quality of life

The models we build help provide evidence for submissions to health authorities and decision makers around the world, including the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC), among others.

Evidera’s dedication to identifying, developing, and implementing the best possible modeling methods and techniques led us to introduce discrete event simulation (DES) to the healthcare field, and most recently, the unifying Discretely-Integrated Condition Event Simulation (DICE) methodology. Today, Evidera’s specialists are leaders in simulation, multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA), simulated trial comparisons, and numerous other cutting-edge methodologies. We’ve recently launched Alzheimer’s disease ACE simulation using EviDICE®, Evidera’s Excel-based platform for operationalizing DICE simulations. We’re also active in the field, contributing to task forces on modeling and MCDA and played a leading role in the development of the latest ISPOR-SMDM modeling guidelines.

Regardless of the complexity of the modeling approach adopted, all of Evidera’s models are rigorously constructed, verified, and validated in accordance with the most recent modeling guidelines.
