When you inquire about, or apply for, a vacancy at Evidera (a PPD group company) we may collect various categories of personal information from and about you. The categories of information we collect may include identifiers such as your name, email address, and other contact information; professional or employment-related information such as your job history and educational and training details; and characteristics of protected classifications, such as information about race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or disabilities (e.g. for diversity monitoring and reporting and in connection with any requests for accommodation in the application or interview process). Your information will initially be under the control of Evidera Human Resource colleagues both in the UK and the US, held on the servers of a recruitment software vendor called COMPAS, also located in both the UK and the US. Your information will be shared with other relevant PPD group companies and line management on a “need to share” basis for the purpose of evaluating and administering your inquiry or application for employment with the company. If you are successful in your application, your data will be retained as part of your new employment record, if unsuccessful your information will be retained consistent with PPD Retention Policies for a period of up to 2 years in case other vacancies become available. In countries where the law requires us to keep information for a longer period, information will be kept for a period in line with that legal requirement. Your data will thereafter be securely destroyed. Under applicable data protection and privacy laws (dependent upon location) and under PPD’s Global Privacy Policy, you have the right to access and correct your data. Your information may be shared with PPD group companies in countries that do not enjoy the same level of data protection and privacy safeguards as in your own, however, PPD will ensure that your information is kept confidential as possible. Your personal information will securely stored in paper form or digitally hosted on PPD group company databases located in the United States. This information will be subject to protection under a legal contract called Standard Contractual Clauses signed between PPD companies in Europe and PPD US.
