Kimberly provides direction and oversight to a global team of medical writing professionals who deliver holistic document development support across the spectrum of peri- and post-approval studies, medical information, medical affairs, and healthcare communications. As the department lead, she defines the vision and sets the strategic direction for her team in the context of client, industry, and organizational expectations. Kimberly serves as the executive sponsor for new business opportunities, including the development of advanced and customized solutions. She also leads and facilitates team collaboration with internal and external clients, focusing on excellence in customer service and innovation.
Kimberly brings over 18 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to Evidera that includes six years in clinical development and 12 years in medical affairs. She has expertise in strategic planning, lifecycle management, product launch, medical writing, medical information, publication planning, medical science liaison programs, promotional reviews, and scientific communications. Her product development expertise spans across the drug, device, and consumer health markets.
Kimberly obtained her Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was also honored as a Johnston Scholar the first year of her pre-doctoral program. Additionally, she is a registered nurse with clinical experience in emergency medicine, critical care, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Her clinical experience drives her passion for developing documents that ultimately inform the care of patients through clinical research, health provider communications, and publications.
