Tamara M. Murry
Tamara is responsible for the operational oversight of writing projects for several clients which involves collaborating with a wide range of individuals within Medical Writing and Healthcare Communications and across various functional groups and levels to ensure the successful execution of each project. Her responsibilities include training, development, and mentoring of individuals within Medical Writing and Healthcare Communications, recruitment, strategic resourcing, process improvement initiatives, and timeline and budget management. She has worked on standard response documents, AMCP dossiers, slide decks, posters, and patient responses in a variety of therapeutic areas including infectious disease, oncology, pain management, circulatory, respiratory, and gastrointestinal. As a peer reviewer, Tamara assumes responsibility for ensuring that the finished document is complete and accurate and complies with the approved format. As a project manager, she coordinates and manages multiple medical writing projects by assuming responsibility for the medical writing team and directing the work flow of the project; she ensures the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the completed medical documents; and, serves as a liaison for communication with the client. She has also provided leadership to key business initiatives in the areas of training, recruiting, and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma).
Prior to joining Evidera, Tamara was a senior manager at PPD where she supported PPD’s Global Medical Writing team for 13 years.
Tamara’s educational background includes a BA (magna cum laude) in biology from Frostburg State University, a PharmD from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, and completion of a 1‑year drug information residency program at PPD.
