Tommi Tervonen
Tommi joined Evidera in September 2015 after leaving his position of assistant professor at the Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam. His research focuses on the development of preference elicitation and benefit-risk assessment methods as well as their application in the health domain. He has published more than 30 articles in journals such as Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Medical Decision Making, Journal of Clinical Epidemiology, Statistics in Medicine, Value in Health, Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, European Journal of Health Economics, among others. His technical expertise encompasses decision analysis, econometrics, and programming in various languages. Tommi currently serves as an associate editor of the A-level journal Decision Support Systems. In the past, he has acted as a reviewer for the European Commission’s 2015–2019 policy impact assessment guidelines and has held a post of visiting professor at the Systems Analysis Laboratory of Aalto University, Helsinki.
Tommi holds a double-degree PhD (with distinction) in computer and management sciences from the Universities of Turku in Finland and Coimbra in Portugal.
