Ylana has over 20 years of industry experience with a background in biostatistics, public health, pharmacoepidemiology, and outcomes research in a wide range of therapeutic areas, including but not limited to oncology, dermatology, CNS, cardiology, nephrology, and assisted reproductive technologies. In her current position she provides scientific leadership to multidisciplinary teams on integrated client solutions that link various study designs and data sources to support integrated evidence plans while promoting sound methodological expertise and ensuring studies are delivered to a high quality standard.
Prior to joining Evidera, Ylana served as head of evidence generation and head of econometrics at Lundbeck SAS covering both HEOR and real-world evidence (RWE) and leading global evidence generation analytics strategy to support pricing, reimbursement, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and scientific communication. Ylana has developed a strategic and holistic vision of how data emanating from multiple healthcare sources, such as electronic medical records (EMRs), claims databases, and product and disease registries, provide the raw material for RWE, and consequently, how this data can help to prioritize and streamline decision-making with potential for accelerating evidence generation at all stages of drug development for regulatory approval, access and reimbursement, maintenance on the market, and demonstration of continued value.
Ylana has a BS in economics and an MS in mathematical economics and econometrics from the Université Pantheon Sorbonne, Paris, and an MS in statistics and computer science from ENSAE (Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique), Paris.
