The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®) 50th Annual Conference will be at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA June 6-9. The WOCN 50th Annual Conference goals include:
- Disseminate research and evidence-based knowledge of the latest techniques, applications, technologies, and treatments related to wound, ostomy, and continence issues to impact patient outcomes.
- Encourage networking with colleagues to foster an integrated community of health care providers to improve outcomes for persons with wound, ostomy, and continence issues.
- Strengthen the leadership role of the WOC nurse through education, advocacy, research, marketing, and legislation.
- Generate awareness of the global health issues influencing the patient, family and care provider(s) across the healthcare continuum.
