Marielle brings more than ten years of experience in the design, conduct, and results dissemination of observational studies, including chart review studies. Over the past seven years, she has participated in the conceptualization and design of over 30 Phase IV post-approval studies in real-world patient populations and compassionate use settings. She has also provided scientific support in the development of several FDA and European Medicines Agency (EMA) post-authorization safety studies. Marielle has experience with various therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiovascular disease, hematology, dermatology, neurology, gastroenterology, pulmonary/respiratory, and rheumatology. Her research portfolio includes evaluations of drug utilization, safety, burden of illness, treatment patterns, and resource utilization from patient populations in North America and Europe. The focus of Marielle’s work is on retrospective chart review studies and cross-sectional cohort studies. The results of her work have been presented at various scientific meetings. She has also been widely published in peer-reviewed journals including American Psychologist, Arthritis Care & Research, Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology, Journal of the American Medical Association, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics, and Rheumatology.
