Mary Kay Margolis

MPH, MHA, Senior Director, Patient-Centered Clinical Operations

Mary Kay draws from her almost 30 years of experience in clinical research and outcomes research to bridge the gap between science and clinical operations. She has a 15-year work history with Evidera and its legacy companies. Before re-joining Evidera in 2019, Mary Kay spent over four years at the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). As associate director, evaluation and analysis, she provided senior leadership and guidance to PCORI’s evaluation activities, implementing new initiatives and processes. Driving multiple initiatives while weighing input from various stakeholders, she coordinated team structure and processes. As senior program officer, she coordinated work with internal and external stakeholders on patient-centered measurement and other evaluation activities. In Mary Kay’s previous tenure at Evidera, she was director of program management, organizing operational processes, streamlining and improving techniques across many areas, including quality control, knowledge and portfolio management, and strategic planning. Prior to that, she was a senior research associate, first at United BioSource (UBC) and then at Evidera, and earlier was project manager at MEDTAP International, the original incarnation of UBC.

Mary Kay has an MPH and an MHA from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. She is a member of the International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL).
