Robin has a total of 18 years of medical information and medical writing experience. Her responsibilities include supervision of overall operational activities of assigned medical writing projects, management of project timelines and resources, and forecasting of project or therapeutic area workloads. She also oversees the medical writing aspects of projects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of medical/scientific products to internal and external clients. She provides evaluation and peer review of completed standard response letters regarding clinical content and accuracy, and is involved in training and mentoring staff. Robin has experience authoring and reviewing standard and global response letters, custom response letters, frequently asked questions, ad hoc responses, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) dossiers, and slide decks in a variety of therapeutic areas, including rare diseases, oncology, hematology, immunology, pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, gastroenterology, psychiatry, and pain management.

Prior to joining Evidera, Robin was employed for 15 years by PPD Global Medical Writing, where her roles included manager, principal medical writer, senior medical writer, and medical writer. Prior to joining the medical writing group at PPD, Robin served as a consultant pharmacist in the Medical Communications department at PPD, where she provided medical and drug information with high-quality customer service, researched and responded to inquiries over the phone, and identified and recorded adverse events and product complaints. She also served as a staff pharmacist at Eckerd Drug for two years.

Robin’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and a PharmD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
